Her greatest talent is listening closely and helping you tell your story in a way that captures you and your offering perfectly. She lives for the big reveal of a new logo or marketing campaign and watching someone realize that their dream is going to happen—in a big way.

She genuinely loves what she does and has fun every day, working with her collaborative, all-woman dream team to help hundreds of small and medium-sized businesses launch or scale up quickly and sustainably.

With more than two decades’ worth of marketing know-how, Susan’s professional journey started off in the non-profit sector before joining the marketing department of Fortune #5 pharmaceutical giant McKesson. During her time there, she ultimately rose to the director level serving healthcare clients.

It was there that she became known as a marketing Jane of All Trades, putting the train back on the tracks whenever problem-solving was required. A San Francisco transplant to Norwell, Massachusetts, Susan believes that being part of her community is everything, whether that’s acting as President of the Vinal PTO or the Women’s Club of Norwell or simply volunteering around town.

And when she’s not at SHD Marketing or parenting two active kids, Susan is catching up with members of the Girl Gang Association, a group she co-founded, that gives women business owners the resources and network needed to level up.
